To ensure bidders understand the full project scope, difficulty of the terrain, and remoteness of the project area, a mandatory pre-bid hike will be held on-site at 9:00 AM, Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, pre-registration for the mandatory pre-bid walk through is required. To pre-register, send an email to cthomsen@co.whatcom.wa.us indicating interest in attending. Pre-registration must be received by 4:00 PM, Friday, May 28, 2021. Meet at the Lake Whatcom Park Trailhead, 3355 Northshore Rd, Bellingham, WA 98226. The pre-bid hike will entail a 4.6 mile off-trail hike. There is a separate file with a vicinity map available under “Related Documents”. Bidders shall arrive by 9:00 AM at the trailhead and stay through the duration to be considered for this project. A Bidder that elects to not conduct a site visit will not be considered for the project.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with currently recommended guidelines, attendees will be required to wear face coverings and maintain social distance protocols of 6 feet when possible.
