Project Update 4/30/21

A portion of Leeward Way will be resurfaced in May, 2021, expect Leeward Way to be detoured while work is being performed. Grinding the roadway has been tentatively scheduled for May 19, 2021, then the roadway will be paved as soon as weather conditions are suitable. If paving work cannot occur immediately after grinding, then local traffic will be allowed to drive on the ground up road as needed. The road will be rough through the construction site, its advised that drivers should use caution. Drivers and pedestrians should follow the directions of onsite flaggers and observe all construction related signs. Its anticipated the work should take a few days if the weather cooperates.

Project Update 11/19/20

Henifin Construction, Inc. completed the installation of the drainage system, and will continue to work on the restoration and landscape items. The Contractor and County staff will continue to monitor the area this winter. The roadway has been temporarily patched. The roadway resurfacing and driveway work has been postponed due to weather, its anticipated that this work will be completed in the Spring of 2021.
