GAL Training Opportunities  

Most smaller counties do not have the resources to provide the state-mandated GAL training curriculum, and the state does not provide training.  From time to time we are aware of other training opportunities and will post those notices here, so that local GAL applicants may learn of those opportunities.

Title 11, Guardianship Guardian ad Litem Training: 

• JUNE 4, 2010 :  Whatcom County Superior Court is offering Title 11 Annual Refresher Training in Bellingham on Friday, June 4th.  Registrations forms and fees must be received no later than Friday, May 26th.

• Part of the homework assignment is to read and be prepared to critique the current state Title 11 Certificaiton curriculum, viewable/downloadable here.
