Official Civil Service Testing for Deputy Sheriff
We currently have two deputy sheriff positions that are vacant due to a hiring freeze. It is unknown when we will be able to fill these positions.
We maintain an ongoing eligibility list. Candidates are encouraged to contact www.PublicSafetyTesting.com for written and physical agility testing information. Candidates who pass these tests will receive an application in the mail. The results of these tests, and an oral board conducted by the Sheriff's Office, are used to form eligibility lists.
