CIVIL DIVSION
The Civil Division serves legal documents throughout the county, performs evictions and enforces the orders of the court. The Civil Division is also responsible for carrying out Orders of Sale and Writs of Execution, Attachment, Restitution, Replevin and Habeas Corpus. These duties often include levying on real and personal property wherein a Sheriff’s Sale often ensues. Orders must be reviewed for legal sufficiency to limit the liability of the Sheriff and his deputies.
