Northwest Drive Culvert Replacement at Bear Creek

This project is located approximately 0.10 mile south of Slater Road on Northwest Drive. It involves replacement of a 6-ft culvert damaged during the January 2009 floods with a 16-foot x 10-foot fish passable pipe arch. Construction will require a full closure 24 hours per day of Northwest Drive just south of Slater Road from August 30 through October 1, 2010.
The project is 86.5% funded by the Federal Highway Administration through the Emergency Relief program. Strider Construction was awarded the project for their low bid of $308,000.
