Lincoln Road Phase I. Shintaffer Road to Harborview Road. CRP #902008
Lincoln Road will be reconstructed between Shintaffer Road and Harborview Road, including 500-feet north and south of the Lincoln/Harborview intersection on Harborview Road. The project consists of 12-ft lanes, 8-ft shoulders on Lincoln. Intersection improvements at the 2 intersections consist of left turn lanes on Lincoln westbound and Shintaffer and Lincoln eastbound at Harborview, and on Harborview northbound.
Additional improvements include vertical and horizontal realighnment, channelization, safety improvements, storm water bio-swales, and an off site wetland mitigation site.
Design, permitting, and right-of-way acquisition were complete by mid January 2011. The project was bid in spring of 2011 and constructed in summer 2011.
Paving and striping is complete and Lincoln Road is open as of September 23, 2011. Expect intermittent delays during roadside planting.
