Metadata, or "data about data" describes the content, quality,
condition, and other characteristics of data. Descriptions of
selected Geospatial Data coverages available from Whatcom County
GIS arc located on the Washington Geographic Information Council
(WAGIC) web site. The metadata descriptions indicate what is contained
in a particular coverage and who to contact for further information.
These descriptions were created utilizing FGDC Metadata Content
Standard and a modified version of the
NBII Metamaker.
