to amend the Whatcom County Zoning Text and Official Map:
The person who wants the amendment completes an application
form and environmental checklist. An outline of the procedures
and application forms can be obtained from:

The County´s Zoning Ordinance requires that all proposed
changes must be in compliance with the Comprehensive Plan
Goals and Policies.
Please note that applications for zoning amendments must
be received in the Planning Division by the close of business
on June 30th. You may call the Planning Division if you have
