Residential Inspections
Residential projects require inspections as work proceeds to ensure all work meets current applicable codes. Inspections are required in phases during the construction process so that all work is inspected before it is covered.
The Inspection Record issued with the building permit lists all inspections which may be required. For questions regarding applicable inspections you may contact a building inspector in the office, weekdays between 8:30 am and 9:30 am at (360) 676-6907, or by cell phone during the day. Contact the office at (360) 676-6907 to obtain your inspector's cell phone number.
For each scheduled inspection, approved plans, building permit, and inspection record must be on site. It is the responsibility of the owner, their contractor, or agent to assure the project address is prominently posted and all required documents are on site in a clearly visible location.
