This is the starting point for anyone intersted in getting involved with the Whatcom County Comprehensive Plan review and revision.
Early in 2010, the Whatcom County Council approved the Whatcom 2031 Public Participation Plan as the document that guides public process throughout the Comprehensive Plan Update.
There are many different ways to get involved in the Whatcom 2031 process. Keep your eye out for a Public Participation Information Sheet about the project you're interested in. This sheet will tell you all about the project and what's coming up next.
What's next?
Since many different issues are being considered as part of this process, PDS is setting up Project Tracker. This page will list all the projects going on as part of the Whatcom 2031 process and, if there's a way for you to get involved, the Project Tracker will tell you how. Stay tuned, Project Tracker should be available by the end of August 2010.
