Whatcom County Parks offer a wide variety of trail experiences, from a casual
stroll to a strenuous semi-wilderness trek.

trails
are multi-use unless otherwise noted.
Pets:
Pets must be leashed on all Whatcom County Parks & Recreation trails. Pets are not allowed at the Canyon Lake Community Forest, Northwest Soccer Park, Ostrom Conservation Site, Point Whitehorn and Stimpson Family Nature Reserve.
Hovander Homestead Park has designated off-leash areas.
Multiple Use Trail Guidelines:

Hikers: Yield trail to
equestrians. Allow equestrians and bicyclists to pass.
Don't cut switchbacks. |
| Equestrians: Control your horse. Avoid cross-country
riding. |
| Bicyclists: Ride on open trails only.
Leave no trace. Control your bicycle. Always yield the
trail. Never scare animals. Plan ahead. |
