Whatcom County Parks offer a wide variety of trail experiences, from a casual
stroll to a strenuous semi-wilderness trek.

trails
are multi-use unless otherwise noted.
Pets:
Pets must be leashed on all Whatcom County Parks & Recreation trails. Pets are not allowed at the Stimpson Family Nature Reserve, Canyon Lake Community Forest, Ostrom Conservation Site and Northwest Soccer Park.
Hovander Homestead Park has designated off-leash areas.
Multiple Use Trail Guidelines:

Hikers: Yield trail to
equestrians. Allow equestrians and bicyclists to pass.
Don't cut switchbacks. |
| Equestrians: Control your horse. Avoid cross-country
riding. |
| Bicyclists: Ride on open trails only.
Leave no trace. Control your bicycle. Always yield the
trail. Never scare animals. Plan ahead. |
