Beach Walk

Moderate, up to 1.6 mile loop hikers

Semiahmoo Park includes an extensive area of public tidelands, certainly one of the best places to go for a beach walk in Whatcom County.  Check tides for best low tides to visit. Follow boardwalks to beach overlooks, then continue way out onto the tidelands and follow the incoming tide back in. Be sure to sample both sides of the spit; they offer very different settings.

Pets must be leashed and all pet waste cleaned up.

Check Current Conditions

Semiahmoo Park offers other attractions, including picnic areas and the Alaska Packers Association Museum.
