From
Memorial Day weekend in the spring through Labor Day weekend in
the fall, the Day Lodge at Silver Lake Park is open to the public
seven days a week . Silver Lake Park staff is on hand to take reservations
or provide information from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through
Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekends. You can rent rowboats
or canoes by the hour, half day or full day, and pedal boats by
the half hour or hour. Fishing tackle and snacks are available seasonally.
During
the off season, after Labor Day weekend and on through the
fall, winter and spring until Memorial Day weekend, the
lodge can be rented on a daily basis.
It’s a unique setting for weddings, reunions, retreats, business seminars,
or just gathering friends together for a party. The dining room easily seats
40 people and there is also outside seating on the surrounding deck if weather
permits. With lake and mountain views on three sides and a large central fireplace
the Day Lodge is a beautiful and dramatic location for your event.
Reservations: Whatcom County residents may reserve the
Day Lodge up to 12 months in advance; non-residents
up to six months in advance. Upon confirming a reservation
date and time, the park staff will send all necessary forms to you. The
use
and/or consumption of alcohol is permitted inside the lodge if a Banquet
Permit
is obtained from the Washington State Liquor Control Board.
