Silver Lake

Silver Lake Park -
Horse Camp

The Horse Camp at Silver Lake Park is a unique facility designed for people who like to take their horses camping with them. Tucked into the woods on the edge of a large meadow at the foot of Red Mountain, it's a beautiful location with trails and open fields to ride with access to many miles of forest roads. The Horse Camp Features:

  • 28 individual campsites with water and electrical hookups, picnic table and fire pits
  • Two stables available for park users horses with tie stall for up to 30 horses each
  • Ample horse trailer parking areas convenient to the stables
  • Two covered kitchen shelters (can be reserved by groups or individuals on a daily basis).

Directions

From I-5 take the Sunset Drive exit (255). Turn east on Sunset Drive. Sunset Drive turns into the Mt. Baker Highway.Turn left onto Silver Lake Road.
