Hovander Homestead Park's New Playground

Hovander Homestead Park -
New Playground

Hovander Homestead Park 's new playground opened on August 24, 2012. Located adjacent to the animal contact area to the east of the barnyard, the new play equipment is already a big hit with kids and parents alike. Two distinct play areas, one for toddlers and another for children aged 5 - 12, are featured. In keeping with its location near the barn and animal area, the new playground is designed in a farm style.

The wooden play structure located near the Water Tower will be replaced in September with a tire swing and spring ride.

If you have any comments or questions please contact Rod Lamb at 360.733.2900 or by email at parks@co.whatcom.wa.us.
