Chuckanut Mountain Park
A labyrinth of trails can be found in the Chuckanut Mountains located just south of Bellingham. You will find great views of Mount Baker, Bellingham Bay, and more. Whatcom County Parks & Recreation has joined with Larrabee State Park, Bellingham Parks and the Department of Natural Resources to manage interconnecting trails on 8,000 acres of publicly owned land.

Sunrise to Sunset
North Chuckanut Mountain Trail head
Take I-5 Exit 250 and follow Old Fairhaven Parkway / SR 11 west 1.3 miles to 12th Street. Turn Left and follow Chuckanut Drive / SR11 south 1.5 miles to trailhead parking area on the left.
Pine & Cedar Lakes Trail head
Take I-5 Exit 250 and follow Old Fairhaven Parkway / SR 11 west 0.1 miles to 30th Street. Turn left on 30th Street for 0.9 miles to Old Samish Road. Turn left on Old Samish road for 1.3 miles to trailhead parking area on the right.
