| | Baker Lake Road/Sulphur Creek Bridge No. 422 |
| | The Baker Lake area in Whatcom County is a favorite recreation destination. Travelers should be aware of a detour that will be in place while the Baker Lake Road Sulphur Creek Bridge is replaced. The project starts Tuesday, June 22nd, and will last all Summer. A signed detour route on a forest service road will be in use for all vehicles including emergency vehicles. The replacement is necessary due to a severe storm in 2007. |

| | Yew Street Road Construction Project |
| | The Yew St Road - Phase II Project will start late May 2010 and be completed in early fall. Traffic will be flagged and limited to one lane during construction.

| | Lake Whatcom Reconveyance |
| | Whatcom County and the Washington Department of Natural Resources are currently working on the details for a transfer of DNR forest lands around Lake Whatcom to the County for park purposes.
