Information and Literature
Public education is provided on various risks in Whatcom
County and preparedness for those risks. Some information
is currently provided on our website, which we plan to expand.
DEM also maintains a large stock of literature on many types
of hazards, which is available to the public. Contact DEM

Public Speaking
We are also available for public speaking to any interested
groups on a variety of topics. Please call and ask us about
it.

as well as the Federal Emergency
Managementwebsite.
Training and Classes
Currently we offer training for citizens through the Community
Emergency Response Team (CERT). See the CERT home page
for more details on this valuable program.
