County Council Urban Growth Area Review Calendar |
Below is a schedule
of upcoming Council meetings regarding the urban growth area (UGA) review. Special Council and committee meetings may
be scheduled with 24 hours notice, and cancelled at any time. The
schedule on this web page is kept as up-to-date as possible. However,
please call the County Council Office at (360)676-6690 to confirm the
meeting schedule.
The Whatcom County Planning Commission is also addressing UGA Review through October. Please check the Planning Commission's webpage for the Commission's calendar.
Time for public
comment is scheduled during regular Tuesday evening Council meetings during
Open Session and public hearings. For all other committees and special
meetings, public comments may be taken at the discretion of the chair.

Special Planning Committee of the Whole - UGA Review: Review of Planning Commission Findings and recommendations, text amendments, complete review of remaining UGAs, and finalize committee recommendations for the preparation of an ordinance and amendments. Timed public comment will be allowed at this meeting from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. |
