Agendas for Upcoming Special Meetings:
Periodically, the Whatcom County Council will schedule special Council and committee meetings. If a specific meeting agenda is available, the Council Office will post it here. If you don't find an agenda for a particular meeting, please call the Council Office at (360) 676-6690.
On Tuesday, March 23, 2010, during the Surface Water Work Session, The Public Works River and Flood Section will escort Council Members on a tour of flood hazard reduction projects on the Nooksack River. The purpose of the tour is to examine recent and planned flood hazard reduction projects constructed in accordance with the FCZD Flood Hazard Management Plan. They will visit the Bertrand setback Levee, the Everson Overflow levee, and the Deming levee improvement planned for 2011 construction, and will take a brief aside at Swift Creek to go over what is planned there for this summer.
Because of this tour there will be no formal SWWS Meeting, but attached is an agenda of the activities for the day for your records.
