Purpose The Board serves in an advisory capacity to the Human
Services Division of the Whatcom County Health Department on all
issues related to substance abuse.

Member Specifications Residents of Whatcom County, nine
members shall be appointed by the County Executive, subject to
confirmation by a majority of the County Council; one member of the County Council shall
be designated to serve on the board.

Meetings Held Quarterly on the Second Monday of the month.
