The Whatcom County Auditor's Office provides a diverse group of
services to the citizens of the county. Here's a little bit about who
we are.
Debbie
Adelstein became Whatcom County Auditor January 1st, 2012. Previously she was Chief Deputy Auditor from June 2004 until elected Auditor. She obtained her Certified Election Administrator certificate in February, 2007. She previously served for two years as the Recording and Licensing Supervisor in the Auditor’s Office. Prior to moving to the Auditor’s Office, she worked in the Executive’s Office. She serves on several county committees including the conservation committee, Administrative Finance Committee, and the Joint Auditor / Treasurer / Assessor Cooperating Committee. Pete
Griffin serves as Election Supervisor. He is a
Certified Election Administrator. He has been a member of various election-related State committees including the "Voter Registration Database
Advisory Committee" the "State-wide Voter Registration
Database Project" the "Washington Election Information Committee" and is currently on the
"Elections WAC Review Committee".

Stacy Henthorn serves as the Recording and Licensing Supervisor. Her experience as a clerk in both Licensing and Recording gives her a special ability to provide excellent service in supervising these divisions.
