OBTAINING COPIES OF A WHATCOM COUNTY MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE
Whatcom County marriage records go back to 1890. A certified copy of your marriage certificate is required for social security name changes, passport
applications, etc., and can be obtained in person or by mail.
Requirements:
The license must have been issued by Whatcom County.
You will need:
- Names of the couple at the time of marriage
- Approximate date of the marriage.
Requests should be sent with the required fee along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to:
