Whatcom County allows you to check
the return status of your Mail Ballot. As ballots are received daily,
the Elections Staff enters each into the Election Management System.
This action registers the ballot as having been received
and begins it's formal processing.
Due to return volume
some ballots may have been received but as yet not fully processed
so check back later if in step 3 it shows your ballot as not
having arrived.
To check the status of your ballot
please search by providing the
first few letters of your first and last name and part
of your street name. You can of course enter your information
fully.
Ballot status for the February 9th, 2010 Special Election
Only the Ferndale, Lynden, Meridian and Concrete school districts are having an election so you're name will not appear if you do not live in one of these districts.
NOTE: There are quite a few variables in this lookup that may affect the outcome. If you have a street name such as B street, you should type in B (space) st and do not include a period after St or Rd. Do not include a period for any lookup please. Another example is 11th street. You do not need to change it to "Eleventh", just type in 11. The th is unnecessary.
Though we have tested this system with Internet Explorer, Mozilla & Firefox, Opera and Safari browsers and all work well we have received reports that the Safari browser may have some problems.
If you do not get the results you expect please email pgriffin@co.whatcom.wa.us
