This position performs a variety of general and routine office, basic bookkeeping, clerical support, cash-handling, and customer service functions to facilitate the workflow, public service and departmental activities.  Works as a member of a team to complete duties such as internal and external communication, client reception, cash handling, preparation, recording and retrieval of data and/or information, supporting other positions. 

Job Description / Application Materials

QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a high school diploma or GED AND 2 years of progressively responsible general office and/or clerical experience.  Must type accurately at 45 net wpm, perform data entry with accuracy at 100 net strokes per minute and use a calculator by touch with accuracy at 130 net strokes per minute.  Knowledge of medical terminology and Spanish language fluency are desirable

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Background check must meet County criteria.  Must pass job-related tests. Required to become a member of the local collective bargaining unit.
