Construction of this project is expected to begin in August 2018 (after the Northwest Washington Fair) with construction continuing through November of 2018. Hannegan Road will be closed at this location during construction with both a local detour and truck detour in place.

The construction contract for this project has been awarded to Razz Construction, Inc.

Location:  Hannegan Road at Ten Mile Creek located approximately 1,000-feet north of Ten Mile Road.

Project Details:  This project consists of replacing an existing 31-foot channel girder bridge on timber caps and piles with a 64-foot span precast, pre-stressed voided slab bridge. Work will also include approach slabs, roadway approach work and guard rail installation.

Project design, permitting and real estate work is complete and construction of this project is expected to begin in August 2018 (after the Northwest Washington Fair) with construction continuing through November of 2018.

Funding:  $950,000 in Rural Surface Transportation Program funds have been obtained for construction of this project. Remaining funds needed to complete the project will come from the road fund.

Traffic Limitations:  Hannegan Road will be closed at this location during construction starting in August and continuing through November. A signed detour will be in place during construction which will utilize Ten Mile Road, Noon Road and Central Road for local traffic; and Axton Road, Guide Meridian (SR 539) and Pole Road (SR 544) for truck traffic.
