Felony filings reflect referrals received by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for felonies in which it probable cause was determined a felony level offense had been committed and charges are then filed in Superior Court. These exclude referrals which there was no action taken. Each case may contain multiple charges within it. Some cases may also involve juveniles whose cases were initially filed in Juvenile Court then declined Superior Court.

Juvenile Offender filings reflect referrals received by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, for both felony and misdemeanor offenses, in which probable cause was determined a crime had been committed and charges then filed. These exclude referrals which were diverted from filings, or there was no action taken. Each case may contain multiple charges within it. As juvenile arrests have declined, so have the juvenile offender filings.
