This 21 acre park has become known as one of the best places to view Orca whales from land. There is a great deal to discover at the park including camping, beach access, a boardwalk, picnic areas, fishing and wildlife viewing.
Due to extensive deterioration, the playground equipment has been removed and it has been determined that repairs are not feasible. Whatcom County Parks & Recreation is currently in the process of securing funding to replace the playground equipment.
The dock at Lighthouse Marine Park has been removed due to signs of metal fatigue and weld failure. Whatcom County Parks & Recreation is assessing condition of the dock to determine next steps and is optimistic the dock will be reinstalled in time for the 2019 season.
Located adjacent to the beach the picnic shelter features a serving counter, sink, grill and picnic tables. Bring your family and friends beachside for your next gathering.
The boat launch at Lighthouse Marine Park is installed and maintained seasonally. Typically, the boat launch is installed in early summer and removed in early fall.

For advance reservations, you must pay full fees and then receive the discount as a refund in the park by presenting acceptable pass to park staff.
